  • Club Director and Founder, Rockford Heat Basketball, Rockford, IL (2005-2024): Traveling girls basketball club affiliated with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU); responsible for business administration, accounts payables and receivables, fundraising, coaching, sponsor relations, media relations, and assisting players interested in playing basketball in college. To date, it has helped over 170 young women connect with college coaches, earning over 17 million dollars in free education (since 2014).

 

  • Vice Chair, Rockford Area Convention Visitors Bureau, Rockford, IL (2019-2021): RACVB is a private, non-profit organization established in 1984 to promote and champion efforts to make the Rockford Region an overnight visitor destination. The mission of RACVB is to achieve pre-eminent destination stature for the Rockford Region.

 

  • President, Rockford Lutheran Foundation, Rockford, IL (2019-Present): The Foundation’s purpose shall be to raise resources to provide for the current and future benefit of Rockford Lutheran School (RLS), in providing a Christian environment for ministry, education, fellowship and related activities.

 

  • Basketball Coach, Rockford Lutheran High School, Rockford, IL (2016-2021): Active and involved with High School and Jr High Basketball players to enhance overall skills and development as an Assistant Coach. Head Coach of 8th-grade boys and has been to the State Championship game 2 out of 3 years while garnering one State Championship.

 

  • Board Member, Project First Rate, Rockford, IL (2005-2022): Board to promote quality work, pride among workers, and commitment to the community.
  • Vice President, Northwestern IL Building and Construction Trades Council, Rockford, IL (2008-2021) The NWIBT is an alliance of 17 craft unions that work together to improve relationships and create harmony among its member organizations. The NWIBT strives to improve the quality of life and job opportunities for over 15,000 members throughout an eight-county area in Northwestern Illinois.

 

  • Board Member, United Way Success by 6, Rockford IL (2010-2022): Inaugural board member, helped create entire programming that is geared to increase child literacy by the age of 6; the organization has distributed over 120,000 books in the area.

 

  • Vice President, Ken Rock Community Center/Ken Rock Elderly Apartments, Rockford, IL (2010-2013): Organization provides guidance regarding sire and programming direction of community center/elderly apartments. Provided oversight of finances, programming, and staff.

 

  • Board Member, Presidents Circle, Rockford Area Economic Development Council, Rockford, IL (2012-2015): Organization markets the area and helps employers create and retain quality jobs; works closely with partners to serve as a one-stop resource for clients; seeks to improve the competitiveness of the region and to engage the community in the work of economic development.

 

  • Member, Board of Directors, Opportunity Alliance of Illinois, LLC, Aurora, IL (2008-2010): Member of the Board of Directors for corporation administering a $1.25 million equal employment opportunity grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to increase the recruitment and retention of women and minorities in the unionized construction trades.
