More Accomplishments

✔ Currently serving on the Economic and Development Committee and the Legislative Committee.

✔ Proud supporter of the Mental Health tax and the Mental Health Board!

✔ This year, we have had over 32 capital development projects, including several paved roads and improvements to the Adult Probation Center, the Coroner’s Office, the Circuit Clerk’s Office, the County Sheriff’s Department, and our County Jail.

✔ Assisted in several resident concerns throughout the District.

✔ Passed a balanced budget with No Tax Levy increases for the County.

✔ One major project passed by our Economic Development Committee was the financing of the Baxter Water line to run under 39 to New Milford for significant growth coming in that corridor.

✔ Our marquee project for improvement is awarding the complete renovation of the Public Safety Building that will house our entire Family Court System to make sure we protect and take care of our most vulnerable during their time in the judicial system. Ringland Johnson Construction has been awarded the 32-million-dollar project to secure this asset for the next 100 years.
